An optimized monitoring experience, from start to finish

Built around the needs of patients, cardiac monitoring through Mayo Clinic provides a streamlined approach to remote cardiac monitoring. With just one easy-to-use cellular device worn throughout the duration of a single monitoring period, you save the time and energy required to switch devices or make multiple doctor visits.

Cardiac Monitoring for patients

Getting started

Our process begins with a request for cardiac monitoring by your clinician. Following patient consent and online enrollment, your clinician can personalize all desired cardiac alert criteria for the duration of your monitoring period. You receive a heart monitoring device along with a phone number that connects you to a member of the cardiac monitoring team. During the call, a Mayo Clinic technician will walk you through the setup process and explain what to expect throughout your cardiac monitoring period.

Monitoring process

While in use, the monitor continuously streams your heart rhythm for near-real-time review, allowing for intervention by our team of certified rhythm analysis technicians. These technicians will work closely with your local care team and alert them if critical cardiac events are observed during your monitoring period. Because prolonged monitoring is detrimental to patient care, our platform allows physicians to easily end service as soon as a diagnosis can be made. Results from your monitoring are available just days after monitoring is complete.

Monitoring technology

The easy-to-use MoMe monitoring device, which is made by InfoBionic.Ai, can be worn for the duration of the monitoring period. There is no need to switch devices or make multiple doctor visits. Because only one device is needed for all rounds of testing, waiting time between multiple rounds of monitoring and delays associated with device turnaround are eliminated. The clarity of the data enabled by the program allows your physician high-fidelity, near-real-time views of your heart rhythms.

Support

For any questions related to your cardiac monitoring plan, all patients have direct access to a call center that is staffed 24/7. If one of Mayo Clinic’s certified rhythm analysis technicians sees something troubling or emergent while monitoring your heart rhythms, they will immediately contact your clinician to initiate appropriate care. You will have peace of mind knowing you are receiving the highest quality of care and the best possible answers.
