Developed for usability, InfoBionic’s MoMe Kardia’s cellphone-sized monitor features a single button to report events and volume controls. Allowing patients to use a singular monitoring device decreases disruptions caused by repeat office visits to return and receive additional devices. Not only does this approach streamline the monitoring process, but it adheres to the existing reimbursement landscape.
Through our Holter Cascade workflow, live monitoring can begin more quickly, near-real-time patient data is transmitted automatically, and the waiting period between multiple rounds of monitoring — as well as delays associated with device turnaround — are eliminated. Because prolonged monitoring after clinical decisions can be made is detrimental to patient care, our platform enables physicians to easily end service and receive the report as soon as a clinical diagnosis can be made.

Patients who have questions related to their cardiac monitoring plan will have direct access to a call center staffed by Mayo Clinic 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If one of Mayo Clinic’s certified rhythm analysis technicians sees something troubling or emergent while monitoring the heart rhythms of remote patients, they will immediately contact the patient’s prescribing clinician to initiate appropriate care.
